Twentysomething Georgia pines for her old boyfriend and is thrilled to have a second chance at love when she attends their high school reunion. –Netflix description

In this holiday rom com, we have Georgia, who in high school was head cheerleader, glee club champion, and voted most likely to succeed. So naturally her post high school life kind of sucks. But, she thinks that if she can win back her high school boyfriend at the school reunion, she will also gain back some of her former glory.

You know those high school movies that all have the exact same plot and characters? The nice popular girl, her clueless jock boyfriend, bitchy “frenemies” who talk behind her back, and the best friend who is secretly in love with her but she doesn’t even realize it? Those are ALL here.

Except everyone’s like, thirty. The whole time I was screaming in my head, YOU’RE ADULTS. ACT LIKE IT.

On the plus side, there are random musical numbers (Christmas songs, of course) and Ben, Georgia’s he-was-the-right-guy-for-her-the-whole-time friend, is played by Jonathan Bennett aka Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls (whose hair looks sexy pushed back).

But yeah, this was a pretty bad movie. And not in the so bad it’s good way.
