what i learned from the october blogging challenge

1. Although I love reading “day in the life” posts, I don’t particularly like writing them.

2. Selfies are hard.

3. Having almost a week’s worth drafts waiting to have the “publish” button clicked, challenging myself as a writer, and scrolling through my blog and seeing more words than pictures gave me a very good feeling. So much so, I’m going to try to do it more in the future. Of course, it won’t be daily (blogging every day for 31 days straight is hard, yo), but I’m going to try to do better at having more than one post idea lined up at a time. I learned I want to be a more proactive blogger, and no longer take the “I’ll just post something whenever I come up with something” approach.

Maybe I’ll even make my own month-long blogging challenge someday. (But not today. I’m tired.)

Thanks once again to Gracie at Girl Meets Life for the fun blogging challenge! You can read all of my October Blogging Challenge posts here.
