walking the brooklyn bridge

Between settling into my new place on Saturday and being trapped in the fifth circle of hell that is the DMV on Monday, I managed to squeeze in some tourist-y time on Sunday evening walking the Brooklyn Bridge. I started in Brooklyn and mosied my way over to Manhattan.

Oh, and Batman was there.

Afterward I explored the part of Manhattan I ended up in a little bit, found a fountain and had my first (and, based on the price, probably my last) New York hot dog. All in all, not a bad way to end the weekend.

Have you ever walked the Brooklyn Bridge? What’s your favorite tourist-y thing you’ve ever done (in NYC or elsewhere)?
