The Thing About Living on Your Own in Your Twenties

Grocery shopping still feels like a mini-adventure. (Just like college!)

Cleaning is a four-letter word. (Just like college!)

You don’t have your own washer/dryer and have to use the coin-operated set in your building, so you often find yourself playing the how-long-can-I-go-between-loads-of-laundry game. (Just like college!)

You also play the how-long-can-I-hold-out-before-I-turn-on-the-heater/air conditioner game. (Not like college, because you didn’t have an electric bill in college.)

Sometimes you’ll have more beer in your fridge than food. (Not like college, because your roommates were minors. Plus, you were are kind of a nerd. :))
